Thoughts on God and Measurability

I have posted a comment on another post in a most interesting discussion with another reader. These are some thoughts as a follow-up to the most recent post. It is fairly short. I recognize that I have a hard time restricting myself to shorter posts, because I have many thoughts that I wish to share. Enjoy.

Preamble

I want to acknowledge at the beginning that I am approaching this blog as a religious believer. As such, I hope that my thoughts don’t come slanted or closed-minded. I recognize that most everyone at some point feels that their opinions are under attack, and I hope that I am not presenting an attack on any other belief system. I apologize for any appearance of closed-mindedness, for I truly value open-mindedness and strive for that in my own life. Oftentimes when I feel that I am on the defensive, I can come across harsh. May we all continue to allow the experiences of others dictate their opinions in the best way that they know how, and may we all strive to express ourselves without misjudging belief systems of others.

My thoughts are my own and I take full responsibility for the contents. I apologize again for any who feel misrepresented or belittled, for that is not my intention. I hope all may abide by the same feelings of mutual respect for each other as we explore these matters.
